There is no risk of eliciting allergic reactions if you are sensitive to common foods, such as beef, chicken and eggs. Restylane is non-animal product. Unlike some other injectable products for wrinkle treatment and lip enhancement, (for example collagen made from cowhide and hyaluronic acid made from rooster combs). When RESTYLANE breaks down, water takes its place. When totally absorbed, RESTYLANE turns into water and carbon dioxide and disappears without leaving any trace in your body.

A touch-up treatment within 2-4 weeks after the initial treatment may be necessary to achieve an optimal correction.

One of the most common treatment combinations is Botox® Cosmetic and Restylane®. Relax the muscles that cause wrinkles with Botox Cosmetic and fill in deep wrinkles or add volume to lips with long lasting Restylane®. You can combine Restylane® with any of our services or treatments. Restylane® lasts for approximately 6 months, depending on the area treated. Perlane is a long-lasting gel that, once injected into the skin with an ultra-fine needle, will lift and add volume to the areas being treated. The hyaluronic acid in Perlane simply supplements the body's age-depleted hyaluronic acid to plump-up the lip or to raise the skin and "fill in" the particular wrinkle being treated.

The effect of Perlane® treatment will vary from individual to individual. Most patients however choose to have a further treatment within a year since the hyaluronic acid in both products, being a natural substance, dissolves over time.
